A HERITAGE OF PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION

Ask any second or third grader leading a recycling campaign, or a middle-school student working at a local food pantry, and they'll tell you that they want nothing less than to change the world. Our students are courageous, compassionate citizens, and we take our charge to educate them for the future very seriously.

The campaign for Orchard will help us fulfill that charge. Educating the whole child, attending to both the academic, and social emotional growth of children and adolescents, requires the very best educators who are experts in their fields and passionate about Progressive education. Support for faculty and increasing access for students so that an Orchard education will be more accessible for a greater number of students in our community, are at the heart of delivering on the promise of our mission and philosophy.

Celebrating our roots and Cultivating For the Future means that our future initiatives are directly linked to our founding principles and priorities. Facilities and programs that emphasize making things with our hands, discovering the natural world, mindful technology integration, and being good stewards of our woods and physical plant are as fundamental to Orchard's future as they have been to our past. Join us in building upon the vision of our nine founders as we look ahead to the next one hundred years of Orchard's future: a future of innovation, exploration, and making the world a better place.
